• What makes the Fujitsu fi-6230 different from the fi-6130 model?
  The fi-6230 features an integrated flatbed glass surface attached to the bottom of the scanner, allowing you to manually scan bound books, fragile documents, and passports that cannot fit through the top sheetfeeder.
• Does the ultrasonic multi-feed detection work on both the ADF and the flatbed?
  No. The ultrasonic sensor is built strictly into the automatic document feeder mechanism to monitor paper thickness during batch processing. It does not apply to single-page flatbed glass scans.
• Can I scan rigid identification or credit cards using this scanner?
  Yes. You can scan rigid plastic cards by feeding them through the automatic document feeder slot, or by placing them directly flat on the glass scanner surface.
