It features electrophotographic (4-cycle) technology a MIPS TMPR4955 266MHz processor 64 MB of standard memory (expandable up to 384 MB) and utilizes Brother's Colour Advanced Photoscale Technology (CAPT) for enhanced color reproduction. It delivers print speeds of up to 24 pages per minute (ppm) in monochrome and up to 6 ppm in color at a resolution of up to 2400 dpi class (via CAPT) or 600x600 dpi (normal) and has a standard paper capacity of 250 sheets.
