The eSTUDIO850 is the perfect solution for customers who demand consistent quality and reliability in high volume mission critical print. These machines not only deliver a marked acceleration in office workflow but also improve out put quality thanks to the latest micro grain toner technology that produces impressive resolution with outstanding gradation reproduction. Incomparable image quality is achieved through the proprietary serial filter process and Sharp Edge Processing technology, which ensures accurate contrast and smooth gradations as well as outstanding copy and scan performance by reducing dot interference from printing and much more faithful reproduction of fine lines. Grey Scale mode is a new addition to the range that enables much higher quality scanning of colour documents and photographic originals. The easy-to-use template function stores frequently used settings, such as resolution and finishing options, with an address book function making it easy to register and access fax numbers and email addresses. Both these useful features can be accessed from the control panel of any web browser in your network. All models in the range employ a 1/2 VGA LCD touch panel display with clear buttons, easily recognised key function icons and a full QWERTY keyboard. Combined with new, easy-open drawer handles using upper and lower grips, it is simple to operate for everyone. This multifunction copier offers the advantages of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) search/ import function which allows users to access the mail server's address book seamlessly and directly from the control panel or TOP ACCESS (full remote network access utility), eliminating the need to input the entire e-mail address. What's more, with LDAP authentication, the user logs on to the machine using their network name and password, and their e-mail address will then automatically be used as the "From" address. As your needs expand, so does this machine. Simple expansion keys allow the activation of the additional print, I-fax and scan capabilities already resident on-board the machine with the minimum of fuss. No need to install additional boards or request an engineer visit. Optional high-speed wireless LAN capability (Bluetooth and IEEE802 11g) will further enhance versatility and ease of operation of these machines, with optional full super G3 fax also available. Also included as standard is an Automatic Duplexing Unit (ADU) that will produce double-sided prints at precisely the same rated print speed for single prints/ copies, whilst maintaining 100% productivity. And for really big print jobs, you can replenish toner "on-the-fly", replacing the exhausted toner bottle while the print engine is still running. No need to stop or pause for a second. With the Job Build function you can create new combined documents from single or duplexed originals, changing paper size or image modes as required, and then output as one entirely new document. Versatile Finishing and Media Handling: this copier offers a range of optional finishing/inserting capabilities to produce complete, highly professional documents. You can select from standard sorting, tab printing, hole punch, stapling and saddle stitching as well as a post-fusing sheet inserter. A5 - A3 stock from 64 gsm - 209 gsm can be accommodated in the cassettes and ADU while the post-fusing inserter unit will handle A3 + stock up to 256 gsm. Non-standard paper sizes including tabbed sheets and postcards can be accommodated via the bypass feeder and tab sheets from the second 500-sheet paper cassette.
