This Transition Networks dual-slot PointSystem chassis is designed for installation of two selectable Transition Networks PointSystem media converter slide-in-modules. The redundant power option provides the means to power the chassis from two independent power supplies. The Dual-Slot Point System Chassis may be equipped with the Last Gasp power option. This feature enables the device to store a small amount of power to enable it to send out an SNMP trap to alert the management console in the event of a power failure.
