Controller Technology

Toshiba unique Next Generation e-BRIDGE advanced all in one controller technology incorporates a PowerPC (TM Processor) and unleashes the full power and potential of these high volume systems while maintaining a user interface that is remarkably easy to use. e-BRIDGE architecture delivers a huge increase in processing power and speed in the processing of concurrent print, copy, scan and fax jobs as well as enabling a range of capabilities that will enhance control and security. e-BRIDGE means these systems are high speed and network ready as standard.

Fast Scanning

No need to add boards or upgrade kits simply enable the functionality you require via expansion keys that plug into USB ports on the machine. e-BRIDGE also enables high speed scanning across the range. Surprisingly fast scan speeds of 71 spm (at 600 dpi) or 83 spm (at 300 dpi) are standard across all models, allowing users to fully realise the advantages of digitised documents. Advantages such as e-FILING (or Copy to Box) that make documents easy to share and protect or download to network PCs. Faster, more secure, yet astonishingly user-friendly, Next Generation e-BRIDGE technology is your key to a whole new level of productivity.

Document Production

Equipped with an RADF (Reverse Automatic Document Feeder) as standard, these machines can continuously feed up to 2,000 original document pages per job. Paper supply matches output capacity, with a total of 7,600 sheets at your disposal (twin 500-sheet cassettes, 2,500-sheet Large Capacity Feeder (LCF) and a 100-sheet Stack Feed Bypass as well as the option of an external 4,000-sheet Large Capacity Feeder). Also included as standard is an Automatic Duplexing Unit (ADU) that will produce double-sided prints at precisely the same rated print speed for single prints/copies, whilst maintaining 100% productivity.

Continous Performance

For really big print jobs, you can replenish toner on-the-fly, replacing the exhausted toner bottle while the print engine is still running. No need to stop or pause for a second! With the Job Build function you can create new combined documents from single or duplexed originals, changing paper size or image modes as required, and then output as one entirely new document.

Versatile Finishing and Media Handling

The e-STUDIO720 offer a range of optional finishing/inserting capabilities to produce complete, highly professional documents. You can select from standard sorting, tab printing, hole punch, stapling and saddle stitching as well as a post-fusing sheet inserter. A5 to A3 stock from 64 gsm to 209 gsm can be accommodated in the cassettes and ADU while the post-fusing inserter unit will handle A3 + stock up to 256 gsm. Non-standard paper sizes including tabbed sheets and postcards can be accommodated via the bypass feeder and tab sheets from the second 500-sheet paper cassette. for a second!
