It's a scalable, cost-effective solution that extends the SonicWALL Internet security appliance's renowned ease of installation and administration to network administrators. SonicWALL GMS Entry Edition provides the tools to easily configure and manage the security and VPN policies for a small network with SonicWALL Internet security appliances. SonicWALL GMS Entry Edition consists of a sophisticated configuration engine that allows administrators to manage all SonicWALL Internet security appliance functions including access, encryption, logging and reporting, as well as software updates and feature upgrades from one location. It allows administrators to define, distribute, and enforce network security policies to remote SonicWALL Internet security appliances. Policies such as inbound and outbound access, Web content restrictions, and VPN policies can be centrally set up and pushed to remote locations on an individual, group, and global basis. SonicWALL GMS Entry Edition supports graphical reporting of remote SonicWALL Internet security appliances' network activities by forwarding important syslog events to third party reporting systems that provide detailed usage and billing summaries.
