XENSERVER HP ENTERPRISE 2P/4P ISW LIC Citrix XenServer is a high performance virtualization solution designed for efficient support of Windows and Linux virtual machines. HP has tightly integrated Citrix XenServer into ProLiant platforms to enable fast and straightforward installation, configuration, and virtual machine management. This revolutionary way of distributing virtualization technology combines seamless integration and active ProLiant management to ensure confident virtual deployments. In addition to integrating Citrix XenServer into ProLiant platforms, the product set features the HP ProLiant Virtual Console (PVC). Designed for new users of virtualization technology, HP PVC provides a simple to use GUI interface to setup and manage virtual machines on individual servers, without the need for a separate management server or even a network. PVC comes standard with all HP integrated Citrix XenServer options, allowing local virtual machine creation and management using the server's KVM keyboard / video / mouse (KVM). The virtual machine creation and management experience is greatly enhanced with the HP iLO2 Advanced Pack (sold separately), which provides a number of powerful features, including graphical remote consoles and virtual media capabilities. HP Enterprise Edition enables resource pooling and live migration. This product includes ProLiant Virtual Console for single server management and XenCenter for virtual machine management across multiple servers.
