Wavelink Mobile Manager Authentication Server provides robust security and significantly reduces administration costs of wireless LANs by providing a standards-based 802.1X security solution. It is fully compliant with the Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) specification and provides for a wide variety of EAP authentication techniques, including PEAP, TLS, TTLS and LEAP. The Authentication Server secures the identity and connection of wireless LAN users, making sure that only authorized users can connect to the network and that privacy will be maintained. Now through a combination of Mobile Manager, Avalanche and the Authentication Server, wireless security policy can be defined and enforced end-to-end, without manual intervention to individually configure access points or client devices.
