PT1945S 19IN LCD DUAL SERIAL/USB INT PWR SPKS The cost-effective PT1945S 19" touch-screen monitor is perfect for use in retail, point-of-sale, gloved, healthcare and kiosk applications. Easily integrated with a variety of POS, thin client or PC systems, the touch LCD features a SAW (surface acoustic wave) touch screen with dual RS-232/USB touch-screen interface, an internal power supply, speakers and a designed for touch enclosure. No drivers are needed for basic touch-screen operation, but for advanced features, drivers are quickly loaded using the easy to follow, step-by-step instructions. The touch-screen monitor comes standard with a desk-stand. SAW touch screens are made of pure glass and offers superior image clarity, resolution and high light transmission. Because of the glass construction, the touch screen continues to work even if scratched. Unlike resistive touch-screen technology, SAW is more durable and typically has a longer life. Unlike capacitive touch-screen technology, the user may use a finger, gloved hand or soft stylus to activate the SAW touch screen.
