This unit is equipped with a modem capable of up to 36.6 kbps data
transfer speeds. This means you'll be spending less time at the fax
machine while you're sending or receiving a document.
This unit features multi-function USB/Parallel interface
capabilities, allowing you to print images from, and scan images to
your PC. The program is compatible with Windows 95�, 98�, 2000�,
ME�, XP� and Windows NT� 4.0.
This model features a flatbed scanner in addition to the 15-page
document feeder, for easy faxing and copying of odd-size documents
and books.
Read-Iris? Pro
is an accurate, easy-to-use OCR (text recognition) software package
that converts your every-day documents such as letters, faxes,
magazine articles, and more into computer-editable text files. It
boasts a very high accuracy rate and recognizes text in up to 53
languages. Read-Iris? Pro gives you a wealth of powerful yet
easy-to-use tools to convert documents into electronic files,
maintaining original document formatting including columns,
graphics and tables.
With the ability to make multiple copies as well as enlarge, reduce
and collate-this unit is not just a fax machine, but a true
home/life office command center.
This fax machine is Caller ID
compatible so you can see who's calling before answering. With two
lines of up to 16 characters available, you're able to see the name
and number of your incoming callers. You can even display and print
a list of Caller ID activity. All of this adds up to a great
timesaving feature for both business and personal use.
