Documents can be transmitted as e-mail
through the DX-800's built-in LAN interface via the Internet or
Intranet. When sending a fax, it dials as soon as the first page
has been scanned.

The DX-800's Super G3 33.6 kpbs fax modem uses advanced JBIG
compression to transfer a high-quality, full page image in three
seconds.

With dual ports, a document can be sent over the LAN while a fax
