The NEC Nefax 797 doubles faxing capacity by offering up to two fax ports that can simultaneously send and receive faxes. It offers the highest fax speeds available through super G3 at 33.6 bps with JBIG coding and a less than one second per page automatic document feeder to provide power for all your fax requirements. Fax functions are enhanced by the system's integration with network applications. Incoming and outgoing faxes can be automatically archived as .pdf or .tiff files, and faxes can be routed to a user's email. Memory lock timers enable users to automatically set the unit to store incoming faxes in memory at specified times for security purposes.

Printing from Anywhere on the Network
Thanks to network integration, everyone in your office can connect to the Nefax 797 and print. This available printer option comes with PCL6 networked printing. An additional option provides Adobe Systems genuine PostScript-3 for PC operating systems.

Full-Featured Network Applications
The optional Ei Network Applications Kit offers a suite of document scanning and communication integration solutions for your network. It comes complete with network scanning in a wide variety of file formats including TIFF, PDF, Compact PDF and JPEG. Now you can import and convert your paper documents to digital files and communicate all your information via file data.

Scanning Options

• Scan-to-Email: Email integration enables you to email a paper document right from the Nefax 797. The easy to use QWERTY keyboard provides a way to enter information, and the one touch key makes sending emails easy.

• Scan-to-File (IP): Scan documents to .pdf or .tiff files with the touch of a button. Network file scanning offers another way to convert documents to file data. With a resolution up to 600x600 dpi and a fast, high volume feeder, importing scanned files is fast and effective.

Data Communication Options:

• Network Fax: Send faxes from your desktop as easily as you print them. An easy to use pop-up menu offers everyone on your network the ability to fax directly from their desktops.

• IP Communication: Send your documents over your IP network using high resolution, high speed and security for your intranet communications.

• Forward/Archive: Save your communications TX/RX as files or emails to individual PCs or a group of PCs. Automatically archive all communications for security, validation and storage purposes.

• Internet Fax: Transmit and receive faxes over the internet, eliminating phone line usage costs.

• IT Series Agent: This networked management system provides the ability to program and manage your unit from your desktop.
