They are rated at 500,000 tape passes even under the worst-case temperature and humidity conditions due to their patented ceramic-coated metal particles. Maxell's ultra-smooth coating process allows for a minimum head life expectancy of 15,000 hours. With their error detection and correction features, Maxell's DLT tapes are perfect for backing up LAN servers, workstations, and midrange systems.
