48PT SWCH 10G SFP+ DATA CENTER The iPECS ES-5048XG is a 48-port 10G SFP+ managed switch providing exceptional performance, low latency, high energy efficiency and advanced features to help drive 10 G Ethernet in the data center. The ES-5048XG enables the aggregation of high density 1 U rack servers. The 48-port, high density design of the ES-5048XG offers flexible network connectivity and features that are required for data center design. Specifically it is designed to support the converged enhanced Ethernet market segment. To do this it offers congestion and traffic management features such as congestion notification, per priority flow control to support the emerging Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) solutions for LAN, SAN and IPC networks. The ES-5048XG switch is designed from the ground up with the density, performance, front-to-back/back-to-front cooling, and front port configuration that make it ideal for aggregation a large number of 10 Gigabit Ethernet links from servers into a smaller number of uplinks to aggregation-layer switches.
