Overview
The fi-4530C is an entry
level A3 capable scanner equipped with a 100-sheet capacity ADF
that has a foldaway output tray, thereby keeping the footprint size
to a minimum. The ADF is ideal for un-attended scanning of
multipage documents and batches and can scan any paper size from A8
to A3. The fi-4530C offers high speed scanning at 45ppm (150dpi)
and 35ppm (200dpi) in both color and mono. The duplex facility
allows the contents of both sides of a document to be captured in
one pass. High-speed color images at up to 600 dpi can be scanned
using the built in JPEG compression. The scanner has both a SCSI2
and USB 2 interface providing true plug and play flexibility. It
can reliably detect double feed documents using its ultrasonic
detectors. It also offers de-skewing and auto-cropping.

The Fujitsu fi-4530C Color
Departmental Scanner offers an incredible feature set in a compact
package. Measuring only 11.9" by 16" by 9", the fi-4530C is
the smallest A3 scanner currently available. What's more, it scans
at speeds up to 47 ppm (landscape, 200 dpi), features dual CCDs
with true, 600-dpi resolution for capturing subtle details, and
uses ultrasonic double-feed detection for reliable, automatic
scanning. For greater ease-of-use, the fi-4530C includes a
100-page automatic document feeder (ADF) that handles documents
ranging from 2.1" by 2.9" to 11" by 17", Ultra SCSI and high-speed
USB 2.0 interfaces for simplified connectivity, and Adobe� Acrobat�
6.0 software, which converts documents to cross-platform Adobe
Portable Document Format (PDF) files. And with automatic size
detection (auto-crop) and de-skew, scanned documents can always
look their best.
