The LQ-680Pro is a 24-pin,  dot matrix printer . With flatbed APG (Automatic Platen Gap) adjustment technology, this printer features multipart printing (up to 6 form parts) and front versatility. The speedy LQ-680Pro prints up to 413 cps (at 10 cpi) in high speed draft mode, 31 cps (draft mode), and 103 cps (24-pin). It uses ESC/P2 and IBM 2390 Plus emulation languages. The mean time between failure (MTBF) is 10,000 POH at 25% duty, and the print head life is 400 million strokes/wire. Noise is not a problem with just 55 dB(A) sound level. The printer also features a 64 KB input buffer.
