The Enterasys BL-69551ENT Single-Port Power Over Ethernet Adapter supports applications in which AC power is difficult to access, such as VoIP phones, wireless LAN access points or Internet security cameras. The Single-Port Power Over Ethernet Adapter acts as a "patch panel" and adds ~48 VDC to unused (non-data) wires in a standard Category 5, 5e, or 6 Ethernet cable. The BL-69551ENT delivers both data and power over a single standard Ethernet cable.
