RocketPort EXPRESS cards are flexible, reliable, and high-speed in-server serial port expansion cards. They provide connectivity for applications like factory systems, SCADA systems, point-of-sale, telecommunications, medical systems and traffic equipment. Connect serial devices like printers, scanners, cameras, and LCD screens. The RocketPort EXPRESS product family is Comtrol's next generation multi-port serial adapter. Products are fully compatible with systems that have 1X, 4X, 8X, and 16X-Lane PCI Express expansion slots. The EXPRESS design takes advantage of the increased performance of Comtrol's exclusive Unity ASIC chip. Cards are low profile and are for use in both standard servers and low-profile servers.
