17IN LCD & 16PT IP KVM KIT ATEN CH1516AIKIT combines 17-inch LCD console CL1000M and 1 user 16-port Cat 5 IP KVM switch KH1516Ai. ATEN's LCD KVM console CL1000M offers a space-saving, streamlined approach to IT environments by integrating a keyboard, 17" LCD monitor, and touchpad in a 1U slideaway housing. The LCD display is built into the cover; the keyboard and touchpad are built into the base. Setup is fast and easy. There is no software to configure, no installation routines, and no incompatibility problems. Slide the console module section out; flip the cover up; and you are ready to go to work. When finished, flip the cover down and slide the console module away back into the rack. The KH1516Ai Cat 5 high-density over the NET KVM switch is a 16-port device in a 1U-high housing allowing local and remote operators to monitor and access the entire enterprise data center over the Internet using a web-based browser. The KH1516Ai features Cat 5e/6 cable to link to CPU modules attached to the servers. A special message board feature - similar to an Internet chat program - lets all logged in users exchange information and communicate with each other to manage the installation cooperatively.
