Inthe event of theft, contact us.  The next time your computer connectsto the internet, the Absolute Theft Recovery Team will forensicallymine it to determine who has your computer. Then we will work closelywith local law enforcement to recover and return your property to you.

Remote Data Delete
Ifyour computer is lost or stolen, our Data Delete service can be used toremotely delete all of your personal and sensitive files from the harddrive. Everything an identity thief would need to steal your identity.

$1000 Service Guarantee

How It Works

Thetechnology behind Computrace LoJack for Laptops by Absolute Software isthe Computrace Agent, a small software client that is embedded into theBIOS firmware of most computers at the factory.  Or you can easilyinstall yourself.

The Agent in your computermaintains daily contact with the Absolute Monitoring Center. If youreport your computer stolen, Agent contact will increase to every 15minutes.  Increased contact allows us to obtain specific details likethe physical location of your computer, any activity that has occurredpost-theft, and other important data that will aid us in working withlocal law enforcement to catch the thief and return your property toyou.

Regardless of recovery status, you canremotely delete data to remove some or all of the information stored onyour computer so that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.  This couldinclude files and applications containing personal photos, internetbookmarks, browser cookies, financial information, and storedpasswords.  Everything an identity thief would need to steal youridentity.
