This module provides additional resilient, high-performance inter-workgroup or workgroup-to-backbone Gigabit Ethernet connections for the 3Com Switch 5500G-EI family. Eight ports of high-performance Gigabit Ethernet switching with optional Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) transceivers support both fiber and copper connections.
