Terms and Conditions of Sale & Warranty Information

Purchaser by placing an order makes an offer to purchase pursuant to these terms and conditions which offer, if accepted by A Matter of Fax is accepted within the State of New Jersey for the limited purpose of dispute arising between parties resulting from this transaction and agrees that the laws of State of New Jersey shall apply.

By opening or using a product purchased from us, the Purchaser agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of sales as set forth below. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of sale please ship the unopened product back to us within three days of receipt via UPS Ground Service Shipping.

A Matter of Fax makes no warranty either express or limited of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose and none shall be implied by law. Final determination or suitability of any item sold for the use contemplated by the Purchaser is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser and Seller shall have no responsibility in connection with such determination.

A Matter of Fax will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damages resulting from the sale, non-delivery, use or improper function from any equipment purchased from us. The responsibility, if any is imposed, of A Matter of Fax, in regard to any item purchased shall be limited to the monetary value of the merchandise purchased.

A Matter of Fax reserves the right to limit quantity due to special pricing and/or availability.

Certain free shipping promotions apply To first time orders only.

All commercial copiers require installation by an authorized dealer or that copier's manufacturer. A Matter of Fax will not be responsible for any damages incurred as a result of non-compliance. All commercial copiers can be purchased by prepaying with a check or wire transfer only. Commercial fax or copy machines will not be returnable under any circumstances.

Installation services provided by A Matter of Fax for commercial machines include setting up the machine and hooking it up to one computer, not a network. Delivery for commercial units does not include delivery inside the office. Delivery in side the office has to be requested specifically and will be charged more according to the weight. We offer a 30 day replacement warranty for defective items unless specified otherwise below or in our Returns Policies. There is a 15 day return policy for wrong items sent.

Please note that ground orders can take up to 7-10 days to arrive.

A Matter of Fax, Inc. takes no part of, or, in any rebates and or manufacture promotions at all. All rebates/promotions are strictly between the manufacturer and the end user (customer).

A Matter of Fax, Inc. does not advertise, promote or solicit in any way shape or form rebates and or promotions that are not 100% offered by A Matter of Fax, Inc. on our official letter head.

Extended Warranty:

A Matter of Fax has no relationship with any company offering extended warranty other than selling their warranties at retail. Companies offering extended warranties are the sole guarantor of the product and A Matter of fax will not be liable for express or implied warranty, actual or consequential damages.

Samsung:

Samsung products are not returnable. Defective items are handled by Samsung Corporation.

Brother:

Brother refurbished products are not returnable. Defective items are handled by Brother Corporation.

Lamps:

Lamps are returnable for exchange only within 90 days of purchase.

International Orders:

Customs and duty fees will be billed direct from the carrier.

Unauthorized or Refused Returns:

A Matter of Fax does not recognize unauthorized returns or exchanges. A Matter of Fax reserves the right to refuse packages without a Return Merchandise Authorization number.

A Matter of Fax will charge a 17.9% restocking fee plus shipping charges for refused shipments. Additional charges may apply if all peripherals and accessories are not returned in the original, unopened packaging.
