The USB External Floppy Drive is the newest member of I/OMagic's product family. The significant feature of this product is the capability to draw power directly from the USB port of any PC/Notebook eliminating the requirement for an external power adapter. The sophisticated power control circuitry has been designed to significantly reduce power consumption. It is compatible with floppy disc formats sizes of 720KB, 1.2MB and 1.44MB. With a maximum transfer rate of 400KB/sec, the drive is an ideal substitute for the traditional built-in floppy drives. I/OMagic's 7-in-1 USB Card Reader supports the following types of Flash Memory Cards: CompactFlash (CF), IBM Micro Drive, PCMCIA-ATA, Multimedia (MMC), Secure Digital (SD), Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick PRO, and Smart Media (SM).
