The Iomega Floppy USB-Powered Drive is a universal, removable storage solution that is great for organizing, sharing, and storing smaller files such as resumes, your correspondence, and more. The Iomega Floppy drive is designed to be host powered, so you can easily add it to any PC or Mac computer that has a USB port - without needing a separate power supply. It is easy to install and operate, reads and writes to ALL formatted floppy disks, and it comes with its own USB cable, so you can run it straight from your computer, out of the box! Most computer manufacturers no longer install an internal floppy drive in their systems, opting instead for a CD drive, or other larger capacity media drives. So, if your computer system doesn't have an internal floppy drive and you still use floppy disks - or if you need to replace your Floppy drive - you need an Iomega Floppy drive.
