CTG offers a wide variety of terminators for SCSI peripherals to optimize performance of your SCSI bus - from the popular passive and active terminators for single-ended SCSI applications, to the active negation and hard-to-find, premium-quality forced perfect terminators. CTG carries both latch-clip and thumbscrew fastening for HD68 applications since no standard has emerged, and standard retention for all other form factors. An important note to remember when it comes to terminators is that a passive is simply a resistor network designed to regulate the impedance in the line, while an active terminator uses a voltage regulator to optimize signal voltage. Active termination is always preferred over passive, and most CTG active terminators feature an LED to monitor terminator power line status.
