The SMC2555W-AG2 Universal 2.4GHz/5GHz Wireless Access Point is a tri-mode Access Point that provides the most expanded user bandwidth available. Up to 64 wireless clients can connect to the SMC2555W-AG2 to transfer data at speeds up to 15 times faster than previous wireless devices. The SMC2555W-AG2 operates seamlessly in the 5 GHz and 2.4GHz frequency spectrums, supporting the 802.11b and the newer, faster 802.11g and 802.11a wireless standards. For security, the Access Point supports enterprise-level advanced authentication and encryption, including Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), up to 152-bit WEP encryption, 802.1x authentication access control with key rotation.
