The HMPS1U connects your USB 1.1 multifunction printer to your existing home or office network, allowing you to use the printer's multifunction capabilities (scan, copy, fax) while sharing the print functions of the multifunction printer with other computers on your network. The HMPS1U uses special network switching technology that recognizes print calls from your network computers and differentiates them from scan, copy, and fax functions, which are handled by your network's main multifunction capable host computer.
