The Sidekick 1400u - is a new model, maintaining the same best-in-class features as its predecessor, the 1400, and is now available with Ultrasonic Multifeed Detection. Ultrasonic multifeed detects multiple documents from going through the scanner at the same time. This technology, originally designed by BÖWE BELL + HOWELL, sets the standard for multifeed detection. Ultrasonic multifeed uses sound waves to detect multiple documents going through the scanner at the same time. This technology assures you that all of your documents get scanned. The ultrasonic multifeed detection incorporates two unique features specific to the BBH line of scanners to further increase scanning efficiency: Auto Resolve and Multifeed Ignore. These are two differentiating features for the Sidekick 1400u. The Sidekick 1400u continues to offer USB 2.0 connectivity. This connection fully supports the scanner and all of its functionality.
