RDP automates the process of deploying and provisioning server software, enabling companies to quickly and easily adapt to changing business demands. The ProLiant Integration Module (PIM) of RDP consists of software optimizations for ProLiant Servers which include the SmartStart Scripting Toolkit, configuration jobs for industry-standard leading operating systems, sample unattended files, and ProLiant Support Packs that include software drivers, management agents, and important documentation. RDP provides a choice between a Windows-based and a web-based management console that both have an intuitive user interface making deployment of a server or multiple servers easy and consistent. Deploying servers can be accomplished through imaging or through scripting using the SmartStart Scripting Toolkit.
