The DVD+R is used with recordable drives that support DVD+R media. The DVD+R disk is write-once, single sided and can store up to 4.7GB of data or 4 hours of video. The DVD+R disk was developed to operate in new second generation DVD+R/RW drives manufactured by HP, Sony and Philips.
