The R-Port Serial Remote Control module offers a unique way to expand the capability of your Server Remote Control device or Digital KVM switch. All configuration settings are stored separately in each attached device in nonvolatile memory so that they will not be lost in the event of a power outage or disconnection. Control your serial devices - routers, managed switches, printers, or even serial console based Linux servers - as if you were right there in the room with them. Daisy-chain up to 16 R-Port devices, and control them all using an interactive Web interface! To minimize your space and infrastructure requirements, the R-Port devices use a single cable to carry both power and data.
