At 86 ppm (Letter), the Canon imageRUNNER 7086 device offers the speed and versatility to serve as a complete document publishing and communications hub device for busy corporate departments. The system can tackle the diverse range of document production tasks common to walk-up and networked environments including booklet finishing, professional hole punching, paper folding, and more. By including Canon's Universal send technology you can also leverage the system as a high-speed scanning and document distribution solution for print-on-demand needs.

FEATURES
Delivers output at 86 pages-per-minute (LTR) to meet the rigors of high-volume offices and production environments and is equipped with a 40GB Hard Disk Drive and 1GB RAM, providing users with exceptional productivity and reliability.
Incorporating Canon's MEAP™ (Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform) architecture, the imageRUNNER 7086 can be customized to meet unique business needs. Customized applications can run from the device's control panel, streamlining document workflows.
The large color user interface panel, including an Express Copy screen, and intuitively designed device drivers provide user-friendly operation for both walk-up and desktop environments.
The imageRUNNER 7086 device's extensive finishing capabilities are designed to handle the most common high-volume printing applications, such as booklets, training manuals, etc. Two optional finishers are available, all of which deliver single and multi-position stapling. Support for saddle-stitching, Z-folding, booklet trimming, 2- or 3-hole punching and post-process document insertion is also available.
High Capacity Stacker that accurately stacks up to 6,000 sheets through two sources for long periods of unattended operation, and includes a convenient removable dolly for transporting output to packing and shipping desks or off-line finishing.
Perfect Binder to produce perfectly bound and trimmed books all in-line with wraparound covers using hot glue technology.
Professional Puncher that provides a number of hole-punch tools to support a variety of advanced in-line binding selections with a high degree of registration accuracy.
Available support for actual 1200 x 1200 dpi* print resolution and Canon's exclusive Fine Character and Edge Technology (FCET) for outstanding image quality on every page.

The Mail Box functions of the imageRUNNER 7086 serve as a centralized system for information-sharing, on-site document storage and print-on-demand applications.
Users can choose either the Canon Multi-PDL Printer Kit-H2 or the imagePASS-S2. The Canon controller delivers printing capabilities with support for PCL 5e/6, PostScript® 3™ emulation, and Canon's UFR II (Ultra Fast Rendering) technology. For those users with higher bandwidth requirements, the imagePASS-S2 features its own hardware dedicated to printing applications, and supports genuine Adobe® PostScript 3 and PCL 5e/6. Both solutions have been designed to integrate seamlessly with your existing network infrastructure, and come with a full suite of system utilities to simplify device installation and management.
With its Universal Send™ technology, the imageRUNNER 7086 allows users to scan directly into the device for distribution to multiple destinations. The Universal Send PDF Security Feature Set (optional) provides advanced options to help prevent impersonation, unauthorized alteration, or interception of your documents. With Digital Device Signature mode, recipients can be assured of the originating device of documents. You can also protect the contenst of your documents with the Encrypted PDF feature, and secure them with a password to restrict access, editing, and printing. The Digital User Signature option enables verification of your identity to recipients by adding your digital certificate to your documents.
Supports a host of Internet-ready capabilities, including the optional Web Access Software that allows users to call up Internet data right on the user-interface, and print Web Pages and downlaodable PDF files when configured with the Canon print controller. The Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) protocol, enables you to securely send documents to a shared storage service over the Internet.
With Remote UI, features and functions of the imageRUNNER 7086, user's can monitor and control the device from anywhere on the network.
With Access Management System, Administrators have control over access to the device and its functions for even greater security and cost control at both the user and group levels.

| Braille Label Kit-A1 |

The Braille Label Kit-A1 contains transparent Braille labels that affix to each hard key on the control panel except for the numeric keys. This is due to the conventional layout of the numeric keypad, which already has a protruded dot on the "five key," providing familiar entry for the visually impaired. This kit provides visually impaired users with improved access to copy and fax functions.
The Braille Label Kit-A1 can be used with imageRUNNER devices, as well as some Color Laser Copiers, NP Copier products, and LASER CLASS Facsimile.

Enables visually impaired users to be able to operate the copy functions on the device. These users can select functions on the control panel and the machine will provide voice guidance confirmations of the selected operations.

The Remote Operator's Software Kit improves access for persons operating the imageRUNNER 70 series devices from a seated position. Users can operate system functions from a laptop or desktop personal computer using the optional Remote Operator's Software Kit, which emulates the imageRUNNER control panel.
All control panel functions including copy, print, fax, scan, and send functions from the touch screen are available, including access to the hard keys. The Remote Operator's Software Kit may also be helpful for persons with other types of mobility or dexterity impairments with the use of an alternative mouse.
