With its standard 256MB RAM and 10GB HDD, the imageRUNNER 5020i supports powerful, digital-enabled features. With its Universal Send technology, the imageRUNNER 5020i can scan and distribute information to multiple destinations, including individual or groups of e-mail and Internet-Fax addresses, to internal Mail Boxes, to network or host folders, and to document management applications such as Canon imageWARE. The imageRUNNER 5020i has the ability to preview a document prior to sending and to register up to 5 LDAP servers for searching for e-mail addresses on a corporate server. The imageRUNNER 5020i ships standard as a fully network-connected model featuring the Canon-designed network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-D1 for PCL 5e/6 emulation and PostScript 3 emulation. The imageRUNNER 5020i features MEAP, Multifunctional Embedded Application Platform, a unique open design platform that has been designed to deliver customized applications for every business need. The imageRUNNER 5020i boasts resolution quality of true 600 x 600 dpi for scanning. Enhanced resolutions for copying and printing are 1200 x 600 dpi and 2400 x 600, respectively. Operating at a rated duty cycle of 200,000 impressions per month, the imageRUNNER 5020i boasts one of the highest duty cycles in its class. With the imageRUNNER 5020i, users are able to preview scanned images directly from the Color LCD control panel. Also, when MEAP applications are installed, the interface can be designed to meet specific customer needs. With its standard Duplexing Automatic Document Feeder, the imageRUNNER 5020i makes quick work of multi-paged, double-sided and mixed-size originals. It can handle up to 100 originals and can accept paper weights up to 32lb. Bond. The imageRUNNER 5020i's Stackless Duplexing technology makes double-sided copies and prints at 50-pages-per-minute. It also supports paper sizes up to 11" x 17", and weights up to 110lb. Index. The imageRUNNER 5020i is equipped with an extensive paper supply. Standard 4,150-sheet paper capacity can be upgraded to support up to 7,650 sheets through 6 sources. Dual 1,500-sheet paper drawers are fixed for LTR stocks and can accept up to 110lb. Index stocks. Dual 550-sheet paper cassettes can accept up to 24lb. Bond in various sizes. 3,500-sheet Paper Deck-G1 supports LTR-sized paper. Standard 50-sheet Stack Bypass handles transparencies, specialty media, and heavy paper in weights up to 110lb-index.
