The 60-page-per-minute imageRUNNER 6000 builds on the benchmark reputation of previous Canon imageRUNNER products, offering traditional and new capabilities to workgroups and departments. With the ability to support network printing, copying, and both local and network scanning, the imageRUNNER 6000 delivers users access to information-management capabilities, regardless of whether that information resides in digital form or on paper. The power of Canon's capabilities lays in our seamless network integration, and the ability for users to easily leverage system capabilities directly from their desktops.

With a monthly duty cycle of up to 230,000 impressions, the imageRUNNER 6000 caters to mid- to high-volume environments. It features a 7,650-sheet maximum paper capacity, standard Automatic Trayless Duplexing, a 5.1GB Image Server and an array of finishing options, including basic stapling, two- and three-hole punching and automatic booklet-making.

The imageRUNNER 6000 features a 60 page-per-minute copy and print speed and a duty cycle of up to 230,000 impressions per month. The imageRUNNER 6000 offers a standard 100-sheet Automatic Document Feeder that can handle mixed originals with different lengths and widths in one job. The 5.1GB Hard Disk delivers Scan-Once-Print-Many functionality, and even serves as a virtual document library and archival site with 100 User Mailboxes that can permanently store up to 4,000 pages of scanned or printed data. The imageRUNNER 6000 features a 5-way paper feeding system consisting of two 1,500-sheet paper trays, two 550-sheet user-adjustable cassettes and a 50-sheet Stack Bypass, for a standard paper capacity of 4,150 sheets. With the addition of the optional paper deck, the total paper capacity is 7,650 sheets. With standard Automatic Trayless Duplexing, the imageRUNNER 6000 can duplex on all supported paper sizes and paper stocks, including 11" x 17" paper and 110 lb. Index stock. The imageRUNNER 6000 offers extensive document finishing capabilities with two optional finishers, which deliver single and multiposition stapling capability, enabling users to staple in any corner of the document, or double staple in the margin of the document for a book staple. Saddle-stitch, folding and 2- or 3-hole punch functionality is also available. Two network printing options are available, both of which are compatible with most Windows and Macintosh network environments. One is best suited for text-intensive everyday printing needs and light graphics while the other supports true Adobe PostScript 3 files, complex graphics and variable data output. Network scanning capabilities are available through Canon's Network ScanGear TWAIN-compliant software, which is bundled with the Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit, or through eCopy Suite, which includes eCopy ScanStation, eCopy Desktop and eCopy ShareScan. The eCopy solution provides plug-n-play integration with enterprise applications including e-mail, network and Internet fax, and document/knowledge management applications.
